Miracle of the Moment



"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." Ephesians 3:20,21

Our last entry was a call to all of you for fervent prayer and fervently pray you all did. We thank you all for your prayers, fasting, thoughts and all you did. I will describe what I can about what occurred here, if you want more details you can email us privately at solas4me@gmail.com, we would love to share the details of God's provision.

A week ago this last Thursday we believed that we had all we needed for our adoption. We knew that our referral could come now, knowing that all was provided for. Monday of this week we received the referral of our beautiful baby "A", we were delighted beyond all belief and in a state of sheer bliss. Thursday morning of this week we learned that what we thought was provided for was actually not. Sheer bliss turned to brooding storm clouds, we clung ever further to God and counted on his provision. I am here to tell you that this was one of the most difficult days of our life. We knew our God is faithful and causes all things for good to those that love him, we knew that our God never gives us more than we can handle, we know that all things are for his Glory and yet we were despairing.



We emailed our friends the Roberts Family , knowing that they have been on the journey to adoption twice now and knowing that they live out their faith in an amazing way. We have been so encouraged by them in our adoption journey and asked them for their wisdom and prayers in this situation.

We had already planned a camping trip with some of our church family for Thursday through Saturday and left for our trip as planned. Shortly after we arrived at the campground we received a message from Shelly telling us that the ABBA fund would be providing what we needed. We were (and still are) totally in awe of the way that God worked in providing what we needed. I wish I could describe in more details the events that occurred, but I am not sure that even if I could that I would have the words to tell you. I think the best way to describe it is to simple refer to the Ephesians text I quoted at the beginning of this entry..after all what more do we need that the word of God?

We are going through something very similar right now. I'm stressed out but know that God is our provider and even though we are shocked by this...none of this took God by suprise. We just applied for a loan last week through ABBA fund. It's our only option right now. We're praying a miracle as well.

We're praising God for His provision for you guys.
