Anticipation

We have had fun the past week getting some things in anticipation of our new daughter. We had been wanting to find a book that we could insert pictures of family and friends into and send it to her. It was harder than we expected to find what we wanted, but we were finally able to find it at a local Christian bookstore, the last place we would have thought to look. The book is soft and has pages that pictures can be inserted into. In the package was also a small stuffed animal and a CD of children's hymns. I don't know if there will be a CD player available for the CD to be used or not, but we plan to send it anyway.

We are excited to have this in anticipation of sending it to our daughter, knowing that she will have some pictures of her family and friends that she will be coming home to.

Another exciting find this week was this great material that grandma "B" found. She has been wanting to make a quilt to give to her granddaughter when she arrives. She was very excited to find this cool material. We love the people holding hands dancing around the sunflowers, it is such a cheery material, I know she will love it.


The wait list for referral continues to shrink. There were two new referrals this week, that makes us #4 on the wait list. Our agency does not necessarily go in order of the wait list in giving out referrals as they try to match children with the right family, but just seeing us near the top of the list is exciting.

Please pray for our church family as it comes to mind. We have several families that are having some serious health issues. We just need to remember to think right knowing that all things are for God's own Glory, especially our trials...
