Ethadoptlafayette Yahoo! Gang

We had the excellent opportunity last evening to get together with some other adoptive families in our area. We recently started a Yahoo! Group called Ethadoptlafayette. The group is designed for those interested in Ethiopia adoption, having adopted or somewhere in the process. The purpose was to bring families together in the Lafayette Indiana area, so if you are reading this and live in the Lafayette area, please join the group. You will find a button on the left side of our blog to link to the group.
We are truly blessed to have so many families in our area that are in the Ethiopia process and most of us are about at the same place in the process. None of the families in the area have their child(ren) home yet or even have referrals yet. When we began this journey one of the things we were uncertain of was how many other ethiopian children would be in our area. There are currently nine families in the group and there were seven of those families at the gathering last night!! We thank the Gutweins for hosting a great evening, their hospitality was wonderful and the food that everyone brought was outstanding. The best part of all was the fellowship that we had with these amazing families.
Throughout our adoption journey we have been constantly in awe of the way that God has worked all things to his glory, he has blessed us far beyond what we ever imagined.
